As well we have songs about earthly pleasure, such as lust or drinking. as well with our content.”

Meet the Music host Gabrielle Pantera will interview Nature’s Son and take callers’ questions on Gosh!Radio. Watch the show live at www.goshradio.com. Viewers call in each week during the show to ask questions or give a shout out to the guests. Gosh!Radio provides callers with local numbers in 15 countries that are listed on the web site. The songs the band will perform live during the Gosh!Radio show are Can’t Stay Can’t Leave and Call it Anything.

The music of Nature’s Son is garage rock and indie rock with some pop influences. It builds on the basic elements of a rock band, that is, guitar bass and drums. “We added Organ and extra guitar since David joined,” says Steve Moctezuma. “We also switch up our instruments, but David plays rhythm guitar, lead and organ,” says Danny Moctezuma. “Steve plays lead and rhythm and mostly sings. Danny Bonilla is mainly our drummer and I play mainly bass.”

“We like to change up instruments and roles of playing instruments,” says Daniel Moctezuma. “We dedicate our sound to the creation of the song rather than have set roles in our instruments. We like to experiment with other genres and our influences are vast. But mostly our sound is tied to a garage rock scene.”

The band members of Nature’s Son are Steve Moctezuma (guitar, vocals), Danny Moctezuma (bass, vocals), Danny Bonilla (drums, vocals) and David von Hegedus (guitar, vocals). For their appearance on the Gosh!Radio show, it will be Danny Bonilla (guitar, lead vocalist), Danny Moctezuma (rhythm, percussion, backup vocals), David von Hegedus (guitar, backup vocals). Danny M- We are all Southern California boys. We were all born here. We also all live in Rancho Cucamonga. It’s our quiet little suburb hometown.

Nature’s Son likes to collaborate with female singers for their song Fine by Me. “Two so far,” says Danny Moctezuma.  “We love to collaborate with a soulful singers.” The band says it has many influences… Them (Van Morrison’s first band), Walkmen, The Gories, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, The Strokes, Deerhunter and even some dance punk like The Rapture.

Nature’s Son has released two EPs. “One is called Unknown Dream and the other Pains and Other Pleasures,” says Danny Moctezuma. “We are currently working on our debut full-length album. We don’t have a name for our album yet, just a set of songs.”

The band hopes to release its first album through the label Under the Gun. “A friend band called Meat Market played for them,” says Danny Moctezuma.

The band writes its own songs. “Sometimes we make a song altogether and sometimes a member will bring an unfinished song to work on,” says Steve Moctezuma. “Usually when we come up with a song on the spot we stick to the instruments in which we improvised the song,” says Danny Moctezuma. “That is why we switch instruments.”

Nature’s Son plays in Riverside, Hollywood and Orange Country. It played in the high desert for a festival. They’ve appeared at KSPC live. “We loved playing downtown Pomona, Lot 1 Echo Park, Burger Records Fullerton and Irvine Lake,” says Danny Moctezuma. “We’d like to play with The Strange Boys, Night Beats, Ty Segall, Royal Baths and Thee Oh Sees.”

The band has upcoming performances or was recently at Saturation Fest and Black Lung fest. “We did a charity concert for Bright Path Children Center for needy kids in Riverside,” says Steve Moctezuma. “We would like to do some more charity concerts in the future.”
